Here are the answers to some of the most commonly asked questions:
Q: I registered online but missed packet pick up. Can I still get my packet?
A: Yes! Come to the race site between 6:00 a.m. and 6:45 a.m. to pick up your packet.
Q: I missed online registration. Can I still participate?
A: Yes! You may register between 6-6:45 am on Race Day.
Q: When do all the different races start?
A: The 10k Run will start at 7:00 a.m. sharp. The 5k will begin at approximately 7:20 a.m. The Kids Fun Run will begin around 9:00 a.m. or whenever the other races are finished. THESE ARE ESTIMATES ONLY. Please be at the pavilion early for your race. We will have warm-up activities as well as an invocation and the National Anthem before the first race, so come on out early!
Q: Where do we park?
A: The Town Center has plenty of parking, but get there early to find the best spots near the pavilion!
Q: Can I register on Race Day?
A: Yes! Come to the Town Center Pavilion between 6-6:45am to register!
Q: I signed up for one race, but want to do another. Can I change?
A: Yes! Come to the Pavilion between 6-6:45am on Race Day and let us know!
Q: Does everyone get a medal?
A: No. We do not provide race medals. The top three finishers in each age category will receive a medal. Kids 8 and younger who participate in the Kids Fun Run will receive a medal.
Q: Will there be official photos?
A: Yes. We will post that information as soon as the photos are ready.
Q: I registered online but missed packet pick-up. Where can I pick up my race packet?
A: Come to the Pavilion between 6:00 am-6:45 am on Race Day and pick it up!

The 10k race begins promptly at 7:00a.m.! The 5k will start around 7:20. Don’t be late! Parking gets crowded and if you need to register, the line gets long! The Kids’ 1k Fun Run will start between 8:30 – 9:00 am or whenever the other races are finished.

Since we have had so many questions about strollers at the Pear Run, we hope this helps:
- Strollers are NOT PERMITTED in the 10k and 5k RUNS. This is because many of our runners are trying to qualify for the large marathons, and we don’t want them to be hindered by a stroller in the way. Also, strollers are safety hazards during runs. If you sneak a stroller in, you WILL be asked to return to the starting line.
- Strollers ARE permitted in the 5k WALK and the 1k KIDS’ FUN RUN. We just ask that anyone with strollers get in the back of the starting crowd and cross the starting line after the folks who do not have strollers. This is for everyone’s safety.
If you haven’t sent your payment/logos in, please do so by SATURDAY APRIL 1; otherwise, we can’t promise that you’ll be on the runner shirts!
If you or your business is/are thinking about Sponsoring, it’s not too late! Send in your Forms, payment and logo (if applicable) by Saturday, April 1 and you’ll have a spot on the shirts!

…..The 13th Annual Pear Run is scheduled for Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the Pearland Town Center. Attendance has been 1,000+ for the last two years, with runners coming from all over Texas!
