Event Details

Location
The 2024 Pear Run will be held at Independence Park in Pearland, TX. Both routes will begin and end inside the park with an “out and back” course, down a portion of Pearland Parkway (partial road closure during run) and continuing onto Dixie Farm for the 10k (also partial road closure during run).

Race Day Agenda
NOTE: Road closures begin at 7:00 AM, no parking inside Independence Park after that time, please plan accordingly.
6:45 AM – Race day packet pickup begins
7:00 AM – Pre-Run Activities – Welcome, Honor Guard, National Anthem, etc
7:30 AM – 10k Run Start
8:00 AM – 5k Run/Walk Start
9:30 AM – Award presentations
9:00-9:30 AM – Roads reopen (depending on last runner/walker)

Parking Info
Parking will be available in Independence Park until the roads close at 7:00 AM.
Additional parking is available at Pearland High School, across Pearland Parkway from Independence Park.

Directions
From the East or West, take Broadway (518) to Pearland Parkway. Turn South on Pearland Parkway and Independence Park will be on your left.
From the North, take Pearland Parkway South past Broadway (518) and Independence Park will be on your left.
From the South, take Main St. (SH 35) and turn right on Dixie Farm Rd. Turn left on to Pearland Parkway and Independence Park will be on your right.

Awards
All finishers will receive a Pear Run medal. There will also be awards for the top male and female in each age group and top male and female overall.

Start/Finish Map
Sponsor booths will be set up under the Pavilion/covered basketball court. The Start/Finish line will be on Liberty Dr, directly in front of the Pavilion.
NOTE: The map says 2022, but the layout is the same.

Results
